  17. <p>    The celebrator insisted it wasn't quite his 78th birthday.
  18. Rather, said former President Ronald Reagan, it was "the 39th
  19. anniversary of my 39th birthday." And what was all the talk
  20. about retirement? "Two weeks ago, I went into retirement,"
  21. Reagan told students at the University of Southern California
  22. last week. "Am I glad that's over! I just didn't like it. Took
  23. all the fun out of Saturdays. So here I am, saddled up and
  24. ready to ride again." At his U.S.C. "coming-out party," Reagan
  25. said he would campaign for a balanced budget and a line-item
  26. veto. He also said he would fight for the repeal of the 22nd
  27. Amendment, which limits Presidents to two terms. Aw, he misses
  28. the White House already!
